Power factor compensation for La Gelateria Italiana
27.08.2021Our team of E.NEXT with the participation of a partner "Sferaline LTD" implemented a project of power factor compensation system at the enterprise of the coolest ice cream manufacturer company La Gelateria Italiana.
Our specialists performed the entire cycle of work on the turnkey project – from measuring the quality of the network at the enterprise and calculating the optimal parameters of the equipment to installation and commissioning.
Power factor compensation (PFC) devices are assembled on the basis of E.NEXT and Lifasa equipment.
The peculiarities of the project are that the PFС system was implemented not for economic reasons (reduction of electricity costs), but to solve technical problems – network congestion, overheating of the switchgear 0.4 kV and reduced voltage.
The real effect of the application of the PFC system – unloading the power transformer and cables and increasing the voltage – completely coincided with the expected calculation.
