  • Cooperation of the E.NEXT Company with «DTEK Odesa Electric Network»

    As part of continued cooperation with DTEK Odesa Electric Network, in October 2022, another project to modernize the networks of domestic ОSR was launched. As part of the contract, 17 reclosers E.NEXT will be installed and more than 4 kilometers of overhead lines will be laid.

    Reclosers are one of the basic elements of the SmartGrid system, they are designed for sectioning overhead lines. Installation of reclosers in 6-35 kV networks allows:

    1. significantly reduce the time to eliminate emergency shutdowns;
    2. reduce electricity losses in networks;
    3. to improve the quality of energy supply to consumers.

    Thus, the time of lack of electricity for consumers is reduced and the quality of services is improved. That is, the SAIDI (index of average duration of long interruptions in electricity supply) and SAIFI (index of average frequency of long interruptions in electricity supply) indicators of electricity supply reliability are improving.
