  • Project 2021 for DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks: 9 reclosers E.NEXT put into operation

    As part of the cooperation with DTEK Networks, in May 2021 E.NEXT Ukraine company installed 9 reclosers E.NEXT and carried out commissioning works for DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks. During the installation of reclosers, the overhead power lines were reconstructed and new supports were installed.

    Reclosers are one of the basic elements of the SmartGrid system, they are designed for sectioning overhead lines. Installation of reclosers in 6-35 kV networks allows:

    • significantly reduce the time to eliminate emergency trips;
    • reduce electricity losses in networks;
    • improve the quality of energy supply to consumers.

    Thus, the time of lack of electricity for consumers is reduced and the quality of services provided is improved. That is, the indicators of reliability of power supply SAIDI (index of the average duration of long power outages) and SAIFI (index of the average frequency of long power outages) are improving.

    Many years of experience of specialists of E.NEXT Ukraine in the field of installation of reclosers, provided installation and commissioning works in the shortest possible time. Reclosers are successfully connected to the General Electric SCADA system.
